Working day of Renaissance masters

The work is a result of collaboration with sound master Lana Deban from HR3. It is an audio piece, that uses self-irony and humor to think about the basic concepts of artistic activity, the status of the work of art, authorship and originality. The action takes place at the Kalypso Club, Zrće Beach, Pag Island, Croatia, in time of club reconstruction and preparation for the new tourist season. Workers from different professions are intertwined at large construction site, and one of them is the author, who makes the club’s stage. The plot unravels in an ironic moment when other workers realize that the fellow who builds the stage is an artist. From that moment on they make fun of him and address him as Michelangelo or da Vinci.
