Sharpening In The Corner took a long time to finish. Author started it while he was a student, and as the process of sharpening nearly 50000 pencils is tremendously tedious work, several times he gave up and came back to it. The video is stop-motion animation made from 8000 photographs, and shows the author sharpening pencils until this pile fully covers him, faking time and creating illusion that the whole process was done in just a few minutes.
